TTM Successes and NPN’s Received

I’m still trying to get caught up with my collection. While I was away, I did receive some TTM Autograph successes and a couple of NPN wins from Upper Deck.

2006 Sage Game Exclusives D'Brickashaw Ferguson TTM Auto
From the New York Jets, left tackle D’Brickashaw Ferguson sent back an autograph of his 2006 Sage Game Exclusives Rookie card. Being stationed in Virginia, I followed him pretty closely while he played at the University of Virginia. A solid left tackle, plus a great name for an offensive lineman.

Current Chicago Bears quarterback Kyle Orton returned two of his cards signed. He also personalized both cards to me, which was a nice touch. On a separate, non-card related note, I stumbled across a pretty funny site featuring Kyle Orton – Shave Kyle Orton’s Neckbeard.

2008 Upper Deck Football Heroes Antoine Cason TTM Auto
Some Charger mojo for my next TTM success. A signed and personalized card from Chargers rookie cornerback Antoine Cason. He’s done a pretty good job this season as the Charger’s nickel back. Who knows, if Antonio Cromartie keeps regressing, he might earn himself some more playing time.

2008 Upper Deck Icons Silver Die Cut Xavier Omon #'d 077/150 [singlepic id="233" w="400" h="200" mode="" float="" ]
In addition, I received some free cards through Upper Deck’s no purchase necessary offers. A rookie card of Bills RB Xavier Omon, #’d 77/150. Bleh, no biggie, he’s spent his first season on the Bills roster but mostly inactive this year. My other NPN success was pretty good – an autographed card of Dave Schultz. I’m not much of a hockey fan, but it’s a pretty cool card, plus it didn’t cost me a cent. The on-card autograph’s of Upper Deck’s Masterpieces sets always look great. Much better than the more common sticker autographs found on many cards today.
