I got this little gem in the mail, via Ebay:
A nice autographed Chrome Refractor card of Matt Antonelli. Graded by Beckett, 9.5 GEM Mint with a 10 for the autograph. Everyone knows that Antonelli struggled last year, so hopefully he’s ready to bounce back this season. He recently turned to studying video of his at-bats to help correct some deficiencies in his swing. If it worked for Tony Gwynn, it’s probably something worth trying.
This is just a great photo. Charlie Joiner getting ready to make another acrobatic touchdown catch for the Chargers. As always, Upper Deck comes through with outstanding photography.
Like all other Padres pitchers this spring, Hampson has been unimpressive. He’s still battling to secure a spot in the bullpen. At least this is a decent card, with an on-card autograph.
I won the Hampson card as part of a lot of Upper Deck Masterpieces Autographed cards. In addition to Justin Hampson, I also received Dan Haren, Howie Kendrick, Chris Duffy, Bronson Arroyo, and Andy Laroche. You can check these out on My Tradelist.
