I got this card in a trade with a member from Trading Card Central.  I traded a couple of cards from my recent pack break of 08 Topps Mayo – the Donnie Avery autographed card and the Jonathan Stewart mini card.  Jersey cards are somewhat passe nowadays, but I liked that this one wasn’t a single color swatch.

Speaking of that Mayo pack break, my Donnie Avery pull was nominated for pack pull of the week at Trading Card Central.  I was pretty surprised, but then again, it is pretty rare to pull an autograph from a retail pack.  Anyway, I don’t think I have any chance of winning.  Right now the top two vote getters are a Derek Jeter autograph from 2008 Timelines and a Yao Ming Auto/Jersey pulled from 2008-09 Hot Prospects.  Still, it was pretty cool to be nominated.  Hell, I was excited when I pulled the card.  And it landed me the Tomlinson card, so win for me.
