Mailday: Gwynn, Kouzmanoff, Garvey, Morton, Peavy cards
This week was pretty good for me. I was able to pick up some great Padres cards on Ebay for some really decent prices.
- I’ve been on a Kevin Kouzmanoff kick lately. I was able to get five of his autographed rookie cards. The sell price was between $4-$7 (including shipping) so his cards are still pretty cheap. He’s having a decent year at the plate. So far he’s hitting .263 and is second on the team in home runs. Of course he is also the Padres leader at getting plunked.

- I also picked up some Tony Gwynn cards. Getting some Tony Gwynn memorabilia and insert cards at about $2 per card is definitely a bargain. Some nice pickups for my “Mr. Padre” collection.

- In addition, I picked up a 2008 Colt Morton Upper Deck Piece of History rookie card, a 2007 Jake Peavy Ultimate Collection memorabilia card, and a 2007 Steve Garvey Upper Deck Sweet Spot memorabilia card. I paid $2 per card for these.
