Not really a mailday, more like a mailweek. Got all 7 of these cards throughout the week.
Received this Heath Bell autographed card from Ebay. Two things make this card awesome. First is that Heath Bell is rockin the throwback brown jersey. Second, of course, is that this is an on-card autograph. It also happens to be my first autographed card of Heath Bell.
The rest of these cards were obtained from a pair of sellers on TradingCardCentral.com:
This is another Tony Gwynn jersey card to add to my collection. All blue, so definitely a piece of an alternate jersey.
Here’s a jersey card featuring former Padres pitcher Mat Latos. It features a piece of the now defunct (and seldom worn) road sand jerseys.
An autographed card of Padres 2011 draft pick Austin Hedges. The scouts say, despite being drafted out of high school, his defense is ready for the majors. Hopefully, he develops a decent enough bat to make an impact in a few years.
A very nice 3 color patch of Chargers TE Antonio Gates. By the look of the seam, it looks like this comes from part of the lightning bolt from the older uniform.
Love the 90′s cards. Especially if the feature Stan Humphries – for my money, one of the toughest men to play quarterback in the NFL that I have ever seen. Gotta have some love for Stan the Man.
Finally, here is a Michael Turner Xfractor rookie card. Never got a chance to start in San Diego because he was stuck behind one of the best, Ladainian Tomlinson.
