Got back from another duty day and there were five more cards waiting for me.  Good start to the weekend.

A pair of Jake Peavy Jersey cards.  One from 2008 SP Authentics and the other from 2008 Upper Deck Piece of History.  The only thing that bugs me is if you’re going to do a jersey card with the sand colored jersey, at least have a picture of the player wearing that same colored jersey.

Here’s an autographed card from 2007 Bowman of pitcher Jared Wells.  Wells of course is no longer with the Padres as he was traded last season for Cha Seung Baek.

The 2007 Bowman Matt Antonelli Autographed card.  Antonelli had an atrocious year last season.  While some may have hoped he would be ready in 2009 (including yours truly) he needs more seasoning in Portland.  Hopefully he’ll be ready to take over 2nd base from David Eckstein next year.

A 2007 Bowman Chrome autographed card of outfielder Danny Payne.  A former 1st round supplemental pick of the Padres from Georgia Tech.  He’s expected to start the year in Fort Wayne.
