It’s been awhile since I’ve won anything from Ebay, so a few days ago I started bidding and won these two cards.  This year’s Goudey design has pretty much been destroyed in the blogosphere, but I’m still a fan of anything with on-card autographs.  Especially anything with Padres autographs.

Some good news for Matt Antonelli this past week.  He was activated off the DL on Tuesday and played in his first game of the season for Portland.  He needs to really have a strong season in AAA, so that hopefully, he can take over for David Eckstein next year.

Adrian Gonzalez, what more is there to say about the guy.  His last week has just been RIDICULOUS.  Unfortunately, that could also describe the current state of affairs in Padreland.  Aside from Peavy, Gonzalez, and Heath Bell, there really isn’t anything to excite Padres fans right now.
