Ebay Win: 2006 SP Authentics Autograph Antonio Gates
Just received an Antonio Gates autographed card that I recently won on Ebay. It’s his 2006 SP Authentics card. The great thing about this card is that the autograph is actually on the card – not on a sticker. I really wish more sets utilized actual on card autographs. Not only do the cards look better, but as a collector, it adds a little something knowing that the player actually laid his hands on that very same card. All in all, not bad for $8 (including shipping).
On a side note, congrats to both Antonio Gates and Kris Dielman for making the 2009 Pro Bowl. While it has been a pretty down year for Gates, I’m glad he’s represented. It’s unfortunate that Philip Rivers was left off this year’s roster. In my opinion, he has been the MVP of the team.
