A Life at at Sea – Underway Again
How will you be spending the next month? I’ll be out to sea for the next few weeks, so no posts for a while. Just got finished watching the Chargers come from behind victory. Great win, and glad to see them keep up that winning streak over the Raiders. Next up for them is the Dolphins.
Unfortunately, the Padres lost today to finish with the third worst record in baseball. Looks like a long offseason for them. My offseason predictions? Bud Black is probably gone. As long as Hoffman doesn’t ask for an outrageous contract, he’ll be back. I can’t see the team getting rid of Brian Giles, since he’s the only guy on the roster who follows the “Moneyball” high on-base percentage philosophy that management loves. I have a bad feeling that Kevin Towers may get the ax as GM. We’ll see how everything pans out.
I’ll be back in about a month. Take care and keep in touch.

Hope you got back home in one piece. Any interest in a team lot trade? I can’t seem to find anyone interested in the Padres. If so please shoot me an email and we can work out the details. Thanks.
